English Language Challenges

Hi! Today I'm going to talk about my experience learning English at the online university.
I must say that it was a bit more difficult, because my internet connection is not good, the signal does not reach the place where I live and it was impossible to connect to a video conference. I couldn't do Homework either, because I couldn't make the time (due to different circumstances).
Actually, I couldn't be so connected to the classes.
Still, I enjoyed blogging so much, I feel like I was able to express myself well and talk about things that matter to me, even if they are a little trivial. I also enjoyed doing the videos, as I was a little less nervous than in a "live" lecture.
In spite of being in level 4, I feel that I still have a lot to improve, especially when it comes to listening and speaking English.
One of the things I do to improve this, outside of class, is watching movies and series in English. Generally, I alternate between watching with audio in English and subtitles in Spanish and watching with audio in English and subtitles in English. One of my favorite things is to learn the dialogues in Spanish and English, so I not only improve my pronunciation, but also expand my vocabulary. I also listen to a lot of music in English, this helped me a lot in school, because I liked to write the songs to learn them better and also I tried to translate them to understand them and know what I am singing XD.

Music

Hi! Today I'm going to talk about my favorite music. It's hard for me to choose a genre or a favorite singer/group, as I like many things. What I can say with certainty is that I am a fan of bands, rather than solos. I have two bands that I can't stop listening to, the first one is One Direction (July 23rd was their 10th anniversary) and Twenty One Pilots. (The only thing he has in common is to have a "one" in his name XD)
One direction is my teenage band, and it could very well be the soundtrack of my life. I started listening to them in 2011, thanks to a friend and since then I haven't stopped following them (and becoming obsessed). They have 5 albums: Up all night (2011), Take me home (2012), Midnight Memories (2013), Four (2014) and Made in the A.M (2015), yes, a constant production to exploit the youth phenomenon to the maximum, music industry does not?
Although it's hard for me to choose, I think my favorite album is Midnight Memories, it was a very good time, the album has a lot of rock influence and has beautiful songs like Strong and Dont forget where you belong.
Twenty one pilots I discovered them when I had finished school, I had already listened to their songs in an isolated way and I liked them. They came to fill the void that I had left after the "rest" of one direction. They also have 5 albums, Twenty one pilots (2009), Regional at best (2011), Vessel (2013), Blurryface (2015) and Trench (2018).  My favorite album is the last one, because with that one I met them and, one of my favorite songs is Chlorine, which is from this same album and was the one I started to follow them with, I also love Smithereens, I could listen to it on a loop for the rest of my life and I wouldn't get tired. Also, Twenty One pilots also took a break and they did come back (1D</3)
One thing I love about twenty one pilots, is that they mix so many musical genres that don't fit into a specific category, so they have their own musical genre with their name <3

Postgrade Estudies.

Today I'm here to talk to you about some graduate courses I'd like to take.
I always thought that I would like to get to a PhD (yes, I am very ambitious), but I still don't know what subject I would like to study specifically.
One subject that interests me a lot is culture and human behavior, I like to observe people and ask myself why they behave like this, why they relate and interact like this, why?
I think I would like to do a graduate course related to psychology
Among the options I had to study was Psychiatry, but to become a psychiatrist I had to study the 7 years of medicine and then do a specialization in Psychiatry. It was a very long road and medicine is not my thing, I would not have liked to study the 7 years of medicine.
I really don't care where I go to study the postgraduate course, as long as it is outside of Chile I am happy.
Neither does it matter much how the course is run, because it depends on my situation at the time. If, by some miracle, I could study full time, without having to work, I would accept it without thinking about it; but if I have to study part time, because I have to work to be able to pay for my studies and support myself, I would do it without complaining, if the course I would study was of my total satisfaction.

My future job

Since I was a child, I have always loved museums and my dream was to work in one. I know that studying archaeology doesn't necessarily mean working in a museum. But, I also like the idea of working outdoors.
Whenever I go to a museum to visit an exhibition, seeing the objects makes my hands tingle from touching them, I am very curious in that aspect and if when working in a museum, I can touch and study those objects (with gloves, obviously) I would be really happy.  I am fascinated by the idea of conserving and cleaning delicate objects, whenever I start cleaning something I try to be very meticulous and I feel that doing those things gives me peace of mind.
Sometimes I think that I would like to teach at the university, but not full time, it would be more like teaching a course and being able to dedicate myself to more things at the same time.
I don't worry too much about the idea of salary, because I feel that if I needed money, I could do many more things, not related to the career I'm studying, like selling things or other part-time work.
I think that whenever I imagined my life as an adult working, I thought I was going to spend very little time at home because I would have so much to do.
